Very much a team effort and no mean feat. Visit England assesses every area of our business, from the things you see, to the things you don’t.

Over the past year we have continued to invest in both of those things.

Alongside our friendly atmosphere, attention to detail and our continuous desire to offer guests the best possible stay we are so pleased to have this hard work recognised.

Some of the highlights our assessment made were:

• Investing in a new fire alarm system and improved door locking, because our guests safety is always our priority.
• Additional sockets to all our rooms, including USB and US ports.
• Complete overhaul of our boiler system.
• More sustainable practices, introducing locally sourced toiletries and the removal of single use plastics
• Returned to using local suppliers, for our jams and meat
• Continue to use local companies for our laundry, milk and eggs
• New bedding in every room for added comfort.

We know we can’t stand still and we continue to make plans for 2026 and beyond.
